I will overwhelm 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Ex twice world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really happening.
